Meet the Founder

Hi! I’m Jazmin, the hands and heart behind Muskoka Unearthed.

My journey began out of necessity, seeking gentle, natural ways to care for my own sensitive skin when nothing else seemed to help. What I couldn’t find on a store shelf, I found in the forest, the field, and my own garden. Over time, what began with simple salves and oils grew into a practice of creating remedies that not only felt deeply nourishing for my own body and spirit, but also supported the wellness of my family and friends.

I’ve dedicated myself to learning the rhythms of the seasons, the wisdom of the wild, and the old ways of plant care that continue to guide me. As I spent more time living, gardening, and foraging in the forest, I naturally began crafting remedies to address the everyday challenges of outdoor life. What began simply has since grown into a full line of remedies inspired by the forests of Muskoka that I call home.

Every balm, oil, and remedy I create is handcrafted in small batches, using wild-foraged and garden-grown herbs guided by ancestral knowledge and time-honored traditions. This work is personal, grounded, and shaped by experience. It is an invitation to slow down, connect with the land, and trust in the wisdom of plants. I’m deeply grateful to share my creations with a community of kindred spirits who value the earth, the wild, and the simple ways plants can support us.
